Swimming Program

The Johnstown Community Pool (613-925-5822) is located at 24 Sutton Drive in Johnstown , Ontario. This pool is open during the summer months (June 30th^th - Aug 24th^th)

The Cardinal Community Pool (613-657-4504) is located at 4044 Dishaw Street, Cardinal, Ontario. This pool is open during the summer months (June 30th^th - Aug 24^th).

The facilities are run by Township staff who are qualified Lifeguard Instructors.

Summer Swim 2007 Program

The Cardinal and Johnstown Community Pools offer a Lifesaving Society Swim Program. This is a brand new Swim Program, which makes it easier for childern to graduate from skill to skill. Other programs that will be offered this summer include. Junior Lifeguard Club (9-12yrs), Bronze Star (12yrs), Bronze Medallion (13yrs), and Bronze Cross (14yrs).

This year's programs will run on the following dates.

• Session 1: July 2nd - July 13th
• Session 2: July 16th - July 27th
• Session 3: July 30th - Aug 10th
• Session 4: Aug 13th - Aug 24th
• Weekend Sessions : Every Saturday beginning June 30th till August 21st (Swimming Lessons Only)

Costs:

Family Memberships includes 3 sessions of swimming lessons per child, unlimited public swimming and aquafit classes: Bronze Star,Medallion & Cross not included.
